random question
random question....in genisus it talks about adam and eve being husband and wife(NIV), but they obviously never really had a ceremony or anything. if they were married without a ceremony, do think its possible for people today to be married and not even realize it? like married in the adam/eve context? i know it would probably pretty official when god creates a woman from your rib, but...you know? sometimes in think about adam and how i completely relate when he sinned and then i get confused when i cant relate to anything else of him. too bad the only thing we have in common in sin huh? i take that back...the need for a helper...we both need that. rock!

not making a case for not having a ceremony....i just dont want to have a wife and not realize it, just because we havent had the "ceremony" yet. what if me and my girlfriend are in fact "husband and wife" in the context of adam and eve? what if there a tons of other people out there that are husband and wife that dont realize it....you think this may be why men had so many wives back in the day and so many concubines?
